Spring 2024 Special Session
Description
This course examines ethical decision-making in professional nursing. The focus is on values clarification, ethical theory, ethical decision-making models, advocacy, and professional codes/standards of practice. Students examine and address ethical dilemmas and conflicting ethical obligations that occur in their roles as global citizens, care providers, members of a profession, inter-professional team partners, and designers and managers of care.
