Upcoming Application Opportunities

Applications will be accepted August 1-31, 2019 for admission to the 2020 spring semester. The application period for fall 2020 is October 1-November 30, 2019. Students apply for admission to a degree program and to the University on the Cal State Apply website. (The application period for fall 2019 ended December 15, 2018.) If you are interested in fall 2019 admission to Liberal Studies, Religious Studies and Social Science online programs, complete the Request for Information form on this page and we will send you information regarding a special admission process that may allow you to start classes in August 2019.

You may find it helpful to refer to our step-by-step instructions for filling out the CSU Mentor application. The application fee is $55 and includes a complete evaluation of your transcripts. This process is the same as that for students applying to on-campus degree programs.

To Enroll in Classes Before Admission

If you wish to enroll in online courses for fall 2019 as a non-admitted student, check out our Open University program. Enrollment is on a space-available basis, with the instructor's permission. Before you enroll in any courses, we suggest you contact the academic advisor for the degree program in which you are interested.
