Wildcat ID
All students use their Wildcat ID to access emails and log into their class in Canvas. If you aren't a continuing Chico State student and don't know your Student ID number or did not provide your date of birth when registering for a class, try using one of the online retrieval tools provided by IT Support Services (ITSS) or contact the Continuing Education office at 530-898-6105.
Canvas
Online classes are delivered using Canvas Learning Management System. All students can access course syllabi, textbook information and/or other course materials.

Need Additional Help?
IT Support Services has some helpful answers to FAQs that will solve common problems. For additional assistance, please contact ITSS at 530/898-4357.
Accessibility Accommodations
If you require special disability accommodations for either an on-campus or online class, please contact the Chico State Accessibility Resource Center.
WildcatMail
Each student is provided with a campus WildcatMail email account. Review the contents of your WildcatMail account on a frequent and regular basis. Communications from your instructors, as well as official notifications from the university regarding enrollment, fees, holds and financial aid will only be sent to your WildcatMail account.
If you do not want to check your WildcatMail account on a regular basis, you can have your emails forwarded to another email address. Forwarding instructions are available in the ITSS Knowledge Base.
Student Evaluations of Teaching
At the end of your Winter Session class, you will be emailed about completing an online Student Evaluation of Teaching. We encourage you to take a few minutes to provide feedback about your instructor.
Grades & Transcripts
Faculty will submit grades between January 20-31, and they can be viewed in the Student Center in the Portal.
Official transcripts are obtained from the Students Records Office. For more information, or to request a transcript, visit their website.
