We explore historic, economic, political, ecological and social changes that have created social problems worldwide. We examine a broad range of global problems and current global developments through a macro sociological lens.

Class Notes

Synchronous "Class has scheduled regular meeting days and times; students have the opportunity (but are usually not required) to attend the streaming lecture and participate online in real-time. If students cannot attend the streaming lecture and participate in real-time, then students are required to watch an archived recording of the class lecture. This is a Chico Distance & Online Education class. Only students who are registered in an online degree program or who reside outside of Chico and have contacted Regional and Continuing Education prior to enrollment (530-898-6105) will be permitted to enroll in this section
