Musicianship: This course of study addresses basic musicianship through a sequential approach of ear training, analysis, dictation, and vocal training in Kodaly-inspired musicianship principles. Conducting: Participants will develop and augment their conducting and musicianship skills. Participants will work on conducting concepts, score analysis and rehearsal strategies. Choir: Choir is an opportunity for participants to experience music-making in a group choral setting, using the techniques, materials, and concepts that they are learning about in their other coursework. The choral experience seeks to integrate all aspects of the Kodaly philosophy.
