This course examines relationships between racial and racialized ethnic groups in the United States by focusing on inter- and intra- group processes that shape social structures, culture, and intersecting identities. Students investigate social institutions and socializing agents that promote and/or hinder equity in access to resources such as income, education, and safe housing.
