This course advances students' exposure to and appreciation of seminal works in the disciplines of the Social Sciences including the application of social science theories. The specific content of the course varies by sections and instructor discipline. In this course, students deepen their understanding of the role of the social sciences as an academic discipline and further enhance their understanding of the world around them. Issues of equity, ethics, and social justice are emphasized.
