Description

A large variety of readings, cases, and written assignments are used to examine the role of leadership, global ethics, and corporate social responsibility in organizations. The course emphasizes the theoretical and practical application of leadership and decision-making models and their interaction with ethical and socially responsible outcomes. Effective leaders must communicate well. The course gives students the opportunity to improve their written and oral communication skills. This is a writing intensive course. Passing the course with a B- or higher fulfills the graduate writing proficiency requirement.
Prerequisite: Classified MBA student.
