This course provides an introduction to topics and technology in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The course will combine a conceptual discussion of topics with practical exercises. Both the theory and practice of GIS analysis will be presented.

Only students who are registered in an online degree program or who reside outside of Chico and have contacted Professional & Continuing Education (PCE) prior to enrollment (530-898-6105) will be permitted to enroll in this section. ALSO: YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A PC with applicable software, available via the WildCat Lab (campus cloud software) to complete this class.
