Regenerative Agriculture Professional Course Series: First Course Begins 9/21

Wednesday, September 21, 2022 - 12:00am

In the face of global climate change, the Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems at Chico State has developed an online four course series for ag producers, professionals, and students to become leaders in systems-based agricultural management and address threats and opportunities for California agricultural production. The first class, Systems Theory and Practice, starts September 21. This course provides an introduction to regenerative agriculture management practices, with a focus on the interactions and synergies with ecosystem processes (energy flow, water, nutrient cycles, and community dynamics) to leverage the power of photosynthesis to improve water use efficiency and soil health across a variety of agro-ecosystems. Deadline to register is September 14.
