This stack of units will provide an introduction to the disciplines, pedagogy, values and principles of ethnic studies for the K-12 classroom. You will understand how to self-reflect on your role as an educator in relation to ethnic studies and how to develop lessons, units, and courses for your communities that maintain fidelity to the disciplines of ethnic studies. Unit 7 is the second of two units focusing on Ethnic Studies lesson plan preparation and practice through guided instruction and small group workshopping.
