Aspects of the psychological research process and research methods, including measurement and the quantitative description of behavior. Topics also include hypothesis formation and testing, major research approaches to psychological phenomena, and the critical assessment of research.
Prerequisites: ENGL 130W or JOUR 130W (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or higher. Prerequisite or corequisite: PSYC 101.
