This course provides an introduction to the leadership role of the professional nurse in improving nursing practice. The class provides a basic understanding of the research process and its application to evidence-based nursing practice. Various research and research methods as well as data analysis and reporting methods are discussed. Ethical and legal considerations for the protection of human subjects are reviewed.
Prerequisite: GE English Composition (1A).
