Description

This is an independent study course in which Honors in the Major students work closely under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Honors students define an original research problem, complete a literature review, conduct research, and write an analytical research paper. Honors students refine their papers and make public presentations. Students completing honors in the sociology major must enroll in this course during their last two consecutive semesters prior to graduation.
Prerequisites: Instructor permission.

Class Notes

The class is offered entirely online with no set day/time. Students are expected to complete class work asynchronously.
