Interdis Autism Clinic

Summer Session 2020: June 1-August 18

Description

This course is designed for students who are interested in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Students examine evidence-based practices for ASD, as well as the organization, administration, planning, and evaluation of interdisciplinary programming. Students spend 2 hours per week in the Autism Clinic observing interventions for promoting physical activity and healthy behaviors.
Prerequisites: A survey course on disability, faculty permission.
