This course requires additional enrollment & fees paid to Thinking Maps, Inc. Registration is at: http://thinkingmaps.com and your participation is required to receive credit. The Thinking Maps Training of Trainers prepares educators to explain the theoretical and practical foundation of Thinking Maps, lead introductory training in Thinking Maps, and facilitate an ongoing and sustained Plan of Action at a school or within a district. Thinking Maps is a whole-school approach designed to build foundational critical thinking, problem solving, comprehension, and communication skills necessary for academic success. The eight Maps, which correlate to core cognitive processes, provide a common visual, language for learning, that is used across all grade levels and content areas to improve academic outcomes for students of all backgrounds and ability levels. Thinking Maps is a registered trademark. This course may be valid for professional credit at the discretion of local school districts; it does not meet degree or credential requirements. This course is held off-campus at various locations. Registration deadline May 1.
