This course provides an overview of women's health, diseases, disorders, and related risk factors throughout the life course. Students examine women's health research and learn about health disparities by sex, gender, race/ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Students discuss policies and programs to address women's health issues and related barriers from a public health perspective.
