This course is designed to give students an overview of modern portfolio theory and investment analysis. Coursework will cover areas of the investment planning process, including market structure, investment strategies, taxation of securities, securities law, and more. This program is for those who already have a bachelors degree and just need to complete a CFP Board Registered education program to register for the CFP exam. Admission to Chico State is not required. This is an online, certification education program consisting of 7 courses which cover all of the CFP Exam topic areas and does not lead to a degree. Each course is offered as a Credit/No Credit course. Registration is only available through Professional & Continuing Education.
