Chico State Summer Session lets you make progress toward your degree or other academic goals during the summer break. Summer Session is open to continuing and new CSU, Chico students, students who are not yet admitted to Chico State but plan to apply, students from other colleges and universities, international students, qualified high school seniors, and community members.

Summer Session registration opens Friday, April 1.

Most summer classes are offered online, and the schedule includes upper & lower division, GE Pathways, and general ed classes to keep you on track to graduation! The schedule will be posted mid-February, and classes will be offered in one or more of five sessions:

Session 1: June 1–August 16 (12 weeks)
Session 2: June 1–June 23 (4 weeks)
Session 3: June 1–July 7 (6 weeks)
Session 4: June 27–July 21 (4 weeks)
Session 5: July 25–August 16 (4 weeks)
