You're Invited to a Retirement Celebration for Debra BargerAfter 29 years of dedication and service to CSU, Chico, Debra Barger is retiring as Dean of Regional & Continuing Education.

Among her many accomplishments, Debra was instrumental in converting Chico State's distance education programs from satellite to online delivery; conceiving of and financing the creation of the Creekside Plaza and educational gardens and the transformation of Colusa Hall into a professional meeting space; securing $3M in endowment funding from the Bernard Osher Foundation; and expanding grant funding for summer and winter sessions, which helped thousands of students make progress toward their degrees.

Please join us as we share our appreciation for her contributions to our campus and to our students' successes, celebrate her accomplishments, and wish her well in her next chapter of adventures and continued commitment to her own lifelong learning.

The reception will be held Friday, April 27, from 3:30–5pm in Colusa Hall 100. A short program will commence at 4pm. Join us for refreshments and groove-worthy music as we celebrate Debra's many contributions to Chico State!
