An introduction to the concepts, terminology, and issues in Native American, African American, Asian American, and Latinx/Chicanx studies, examined primarily through the scholarship and lived experiences from these communities. Analysis of the intersection of race and racism as they relate to class, gender, LGBTQIA2S+, national origin, immigration status, ability, tribal citizenship, sovereignty, and language.
