Interested in starting an undergraduate degree in the USA?

The International Bridge Program allows qualified students an admissions pathway to a high-quality, American undergraduate degree. In one or two semesters, you can earn credits in California State University, Chico degree courses while you achieve English language proficiency through the campus’ intensive English language program. After successfully completing the International Bridge Program, you will receive a TOEFL waiver and full admission into a CSU, Chico degree program.

We provide every student the English language, academic, and cultural support to be successful in a university degree program.

Course Options

In addition to English language courses, International Bridge Program students may choose from select University courses in the areas of art, global business, philosophy, communications, international studies, mathematics, and statistics.

International Bridge Program staff will help you build a course schedule based on your placement testing, academic preferences, and class availability. There are two course Pathway options:

Pathway 1:
1 degree course + 4 English language courses per semester.

Pathway 2:
2 degree courses + 3 English language courses per semester.

Step 2: Apply to ALCI Chico

Step 3: Complete the TOEFL iBT or IELTS with a minimum score of 55-60 (iBT) or 5.5 (IELTS)
