The focus is on accountability for quality assurance in the provision of nursing care, interdisciplinary communication, and consultative and collaborative relationships. Legal authority for nursing practice and the impact of political and legislative processes are emphasized.
Prerequisites: Completion of GE Written Communication (A2) requirement, Nursing majors only.

Class Notes

Class meets regularly in-person with some additional work online asynchronously. All students meet in-person and when they do not meet in-person, they are all expected to complete work asynchronously.
