Regional & Continuing Education is pleased to present recorded CSU, Chico workshops, speakers, and academic forums. These are presented in an archived, video streamed format. This online application allows you to access workshop materials any time, to review a presentation multiple times, and to print any handouts. The workshops offer you an opportunity to develop or hone skills that will provide a foundation for an exceptional academic experience.
Academic Advising Programs Workshops
CSU, Chico Academic Advising Programs advisors present workshops on campus that provide students with information to help them design a solid academic path to graduation. Workshop topics include how the registration process works and how academically-disqualified students can work toward re-admission.
Adulting 101 is a series of workshops to help CSU, Chico students and University alumni on the sometimes bumpy journey to independence. The office of Student Life and Leadership hosts the series in conjunction with the Career Center and the Alumni Center. Adulting 101 covers life skills on everything from Car Smarts to Credit 101.
Career Center Workshops
CSU, Chico Career Center Workshops provide tips on finding and getting hired for a job that fits your career path. One of the presentations offers information on getting into graduate school.
Cross-Cultural Leadership Center Workshops
The Cross-Cultural Leadership Center at CSU, Chico values and respects the richness and understanding that diversity brings. The Center exists to create an environment in which all students, regardless of their ethnicity, culture, or differences, feel safe and respected. Through leadership development, cultural awareness, community education, and the creation of constructive change, the Center’s goal is to contribute a positive, enriching, and memorable life experience to every student of CSU, Chico and its surroundings.
Graduate Studies Master’s Thesis/Project Writing Workshops
This is a series of extensive writing workshops for master’s degree candidates who plan on writing a master’s thesis or project. The workshop series addresses specific components of the master’s thesis and project as well as general writing and organizational strategies.
Liberal Studies CSET Exam Workshop
Education Professor Maria Sudduth presents strategies for doing well on the CSET
exam (California Subject Examinations for Teachers), which prospective
teachers must pass in order to earn a teaching credential in California.

CSU, Chico Student Learning Center Workshops are online video workshops to help students develop or hone skills that will provide a foundation for academic success.
Summer Orientation Workshops
CSU, Chico Summer Orientation Workshops are recordings of information sessions that take place each year for parents of new students. They also contain valuable information for the students themselves. Topics include housing, extra-curricular activities, paying for college, and more.
Wellness Center Workshops
Online video forums from the CSU, Chico Wellness Center provide information that promotes physical, mental, and emotional health.
