Description

A study of theories and pedagogical practices for more equitable learning environments for linquistically and culturally diverse learners, in both K-12 classrooms and in university contexts. Course content includes specifically designed academic instruction delivered in English, as well as inclusion of students' other languages and language variations to maximize learning. The models provided allow for implementation in varied educational contexts.
Prerequisite: Possess a single or multiple subjects credential, or faculty permission.
