California State University, Chico has improved to the top 15 percent of all online bachelor degree programs in the country based on U.S. News & World Report’s annual assessment. CSU, Chico placed 41st nationally among all universities ranked for their online programs, up from 75th place last year.

Beginning next week, representatives from the CSU, Chico North State Initiative Task Force will begin visiting the 12 counties in the University’s service area for a series of informal conversations to explore ways to strengthen the North State. CSU, Chico serves the largest area of any CSU campus: 12 counties, 32,000 square miles, about 21 percent of the state—much of it rural.

Chico BagToronto, Canada and Chico, CA  The CSU, Chico Regional & Continuing Education team took home two awards at the 96th annual University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPECA) Awards held in Toronto. The awards recognize the best of marketing and promotional pieces in the field of professional, continuing, and online education and were given in a number of categories, ranging from entire campaigns to individual media. Continuing Education took gold in the collateral material category, and a bronze award in print pieces. Both awards won for colleges with fewer than 25,000 enrollees.
