More than $155,000 Awarded in First-Time Grants to Support CSU, Chico’s Winter Session Students
A record number of students are earning University credit during the winter break through the Center for Regional & Continuing Education’s (RCE) Winter Session at California State University, Chico.
Winter Session Grants Available!
This year the University is happy to offer $500 grants to help you make Winter Session part of your degree & graduation plan. To be considered for a grant, you must be enrolled in a Winter Session class, and either be a senior graduating in spring or summer 2017 OR have financial need as determined by your filed ’16-’17 financial aid application. There is a short online grant application to determine eligibility.

California State University, Chico College of Business, in partnership with Shasta College, will host an information session at Shasta College, October 20, 2016.
Those interested in earning a degree in business in Redding are encouraged to attend the information session.

School of Education Offers Preliminary Administrative Services Credential for Future School Administrators and Educational Leaders
California State University, Chico, School of Education is now offering a post baccalaureate Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) for educators seeking a career as a public school administrator.
Offered through the School of Education, the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential provides the foundations of educational leadership necessary to qualify for a Clear California Administrative Services Credential granted through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

CSU, Chico Announces Admissions for College of Business Management Degree Completion Program in Redding
California State University, Chico’s College of Business and Regional & Continuing Education, in partnership with Shasta College, have announced that enrollment is open now through the month of August for spring semester business classes in Redding starting in January.

Nearly 3,000 Enrolled in CSU, Chico Summer Courses; Program in 96th Year
Nearly 3,000 students are earning university credit this summer through Regional & Continuing Education’s (RCE) summer session at California State University, Chico.
The Early Start Program at CSU, Chico is an enrollment requirement for first-time freshmen who need help getting ready for college-level English and/or math. The goal of Early Start is to better prepare them in math and English before their first semester even begins so that they have a better chance of completing a college degree.
California State University, Chico in partnership with Shasta College, will host an Information Session in Redding to advise potential and current Chico State students on courses and programs offered at the University Center in Redding and online.
The information session is scheduled Thursday, October 10, 6:30p.m. at the Shasta College University Center, 1400 Market Street, downtown Redding.
