Forensic Archaeology: Field Recovery Methods, June 9th - 13th

Continuing Education, in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology, is pleased to present Forensic Archaeology: Field Recovery Methods, June 9-13. This five-day intensive and rarely offered course focuses on the application of archaeology, anthropology, and forensic science to the location and recovery of human remains in the outdoor environment.

Calling all Jammers! Music is much better when you can play along, and after this session you’ll be able to. Do you have basic strumming skills on a guitar, mandolin, banjo, autoharp, or any chord instrument—including piano? Then dust it off, tune it up, and come on down and join the fun. You’ll learn confidence, get a basic repertoire of great music, and you’ll be let in on the secrets of serious jammers.

Enrollment Opens for 2008 Localization Certification Programs

California State University, Chico, Center for Regional and Continuing Education, the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) and the Localization Institute announce early enrollment for the 2008 Localization Certification Program and Localization Project Management Certification.

The Localization Certification Program will be offered on the campus of EUROMED Marseille Ecole de Management, Marseille, France, March 31-April 2, and on the campus of Saint Louis University, at the Boeing Institute of International Business, St. Louis, USA, June 16-18. The Localization Project Management Certification will be presented April 3-4 at EUROMED Marseille Ecole de Management and June 19-20 at Saint Louis University.

We are pleased to announce the opening of the new Health Sciences & University Center in downtown Redding. Complete your degree in business, liberal studies and nursing without leaving the Redding area. Courses are offered downtown, at Shasta college and online. You may be eligible to take courses without being admitted to the university through the Open University program. There is still time to be admitted for the Spring 2008 semester. Professional MBA Students Head to China - Chico to China 2007

Our Professional MBA students are preparing for their China trip as part of Professor Levine’s Understanding Global Business course. They will study at Huazhong University and visit several business communities throughout their two week excursion.
