Join the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
With nearly 800 members and 50 classes led by volunteer peer leaders, you can be sure that you’ll have an enriching experience as you learn for the love of it. OLLI is open to community members at least 55 years of age or retired from their careers. Spouses of members may join regardless of spouse’s age.
How much does it cost?
The annual membership fee is $75 and includes:
- Up to 5 classes for both fall and spring terms

Special general meetings with guest speakers on timely topics

Monthly newsletters during class sessions, including information about people, class activities, and meetings
When and where are classes held?
Classes meet once per week on the Chico State campus and at various meeting sites around town. There are also several shorter-term mini-classes. The fall term runs late August through mid-December, and the spring term runs early February through May for the spring.
Is class attendance mandatory?
No, attendance is not required at any class, so when adventure calls, or if you just need a pajama-day, enjoy your time away from OLLI without worry.
