Literacy & Art Education Webinar

The National Art Education Association (NAEA) will offer “Literacy and Art Education,” a 60-minute webinar delivered live on September 27, 2016. Beth Olshansky, Director of the Center for the Advancement of Art-Based Literacy, is the featured speaker. Her teaching methodologies place art at the heart of literacy learning and eliminates the hidden bias within our schools that favors verbal learners and discriminates against those more visually inclined.

The webinar is FREE for NAEA Members and just $49 for non-members. NAEA members can earn university credit through CSU, Chico for participating in a variety of NAEA conferences, workshops, webinars, and other activities. Each 15 hours completed of NAEA professional development can be accrued for 1 semester unit.
