About CELT
Sponsored by California State University, Chico, Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT), the Faculty Recognition and Support Committee (FRAS), and the Office of the Provost, the 2011 CELT Conference offers a wide variety of sessions that will engage faculty, staff, and students in a thoughtful exploration of the nature of learning and teaching.

Join us to learn more about what each of us is doing, and can further do, to enhance high quality learning and teaching – in the University and beyond. This year's theme, 21st Century Learning, will offer sessions that offer ideas for practices and strategies for creating learner-centered classrooms.

All conference participants are cordially invited to attend the CELT Conference Awards Luncheon, Wednesday, October 5, 11:30am - 1:00pm, Bell Memorial Union Auditorium. CELT will honor Chico State Outstanding Teacher, Professor Masami Toku (ARTS) and Outstanding Academic Advisor, Professor Jane Rysberg (PSYC) at the luncheon. Exemplary Online Instruction Awards will also be presented.

There is no charge for the conference or the luncheon, but advance registration is required.
