New Online Resources for Students & Faculty Advisors

Printer-friendly version

The Center for Regional & Continuing Education is pleased to introduce CSU, Chico Career Center Forums, a series of presentations delivered in an online format. Presented by Career Center Advisors, the five archived, video-streamed Forums cover topics such as using social networking to find a career; professional etiquette; building an effective resume; getting into graduate school; and strategic interview techniques. The online delivery system allows users to access the materials at their convenience and to review the presentation multiple times.

For current CSU, Chico students, the Forums present valuable tips and tools for finding and landing a job fitting their desired career path. They can also serve as a helpful resource to faculty advisors and staff who provide guidance to students in their academic departments. And while developed primarily for students, the University community is invited to view the Forums to brush up on their own professional etiquette and networking skills! To view the Forums, visit the Regional & Continuing Education Web site at If you have ideas for online presentations that would benefit students, contact Jeff Layne at 898-6105 or email
