California State University, Chico Continuing Education and Research Foundation, in partnership with the Localization Institute, present the Localization Certification and Localization Project Management Certification Programs for localization professionals. Established in 2006, the programs consist of a combination of online instruction, onsite workshops with practitioner-led lectures and labs, and a certification exam.

Over 325 localization professionals from more than 35 countries and representing a broad range of client and vendor organizations have benefited from the certification programs. Our online course content has been updated for 2010, and our workshop speakers this year represent some of the most exciting organizations in the localization industry. Localization Certification Program

The Localization Certification Program was developed by industry experts representing the leading professional associations, publishers and academic institutions in the field. Now in its 5th year, the program provides a unique educational opportunity to master competency in the emerging localization and international e-business field.

Localization Project Management Program

When it comes to developing localized Web sites, well-executed project management is key to success. Our localization leaders have developed a comprehensive Localization Project Management Certification Program ideal for those who have taken or will participate in the next Localization Certification Program, or who are versed in the strategies and tools of the localization trade.
