Class Notes

NAEA National Convention. This one-unit course, geared for K-12 educators, addresses the benefits of multiple perspectives and curriculum connections that exist within the field of art education. Research, curriculum development, and current trends will be investigated. The National Art Education Association's planning pillars of community, advocacy, learning, research and knowledge, and organizational vibrancy, as well as the National Core Arts Standards, anchor the course content. This course may be valid for professional credit at the discretion of local school districts; it does not meet degree or credential requirements. This course requires additional enrollment/fee to attend at www.arteducators.org. Registration Deadline May 1.
