Our program is currently paused due to limited availability of supervision placements, but we hope to offer the program again soon!
In the meantime, please explore these programs available from other California State Universities:
- CSU Sacramento [1]: Provides SLPA extension coursework designed as an adjunct to their Bachelor of Science program in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSAD) to meet state licensing standards. They also offer a Second Bachelor's in CSAD via Continuing Education [2] for career changers leading to SLPA eligibility.
- CSU Northridge (CSUN) [3]: Offers a 130-hour SLPA Certificate Program through the Tseng College in collaboration with the College of Health and Human Development, combining online instruction with 110 hours of clinical fieldwork.
- Cal State East Bay [4]: Features a dedicated SLPA Program through Continuing Education tailored for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology and need the required practicum and curriculum.
