Adjunct Enrollment

Fall 2018 Special Session

Class Notes

Printer-friendly version

If you are pursuing a master's degree you must enroll each semester until the degree is awarded. See the Graduate Studies website at Enrollment as a regular student or adjunct enrollment satisfies this continuous enrollment requirement. Special Session and Open University do not. Adjunct enrollment consists of registration in GRST 899 through Regional & Continuing Education, for which an administrative fee is charged. Registration in GRST 899 must be completed by the end of the fourth week of each semester (the University census date). Late fees are charged for non-compliance with this policy. No credit is earned but adjunct enrollment does allow you to maintain your status in the master's degree program and to make minimal use of selected campus resources, including the library, laboratories, computer facilities, faculty advisers, and the Graduate School's Thesis Editor. Adjunct enrollment serves both students who have finished their coursework but have not yet met all degree requirements (e.g., terminal project, incomplete grade, etc.), and those who choose not to enroll in regular classes for a given semester. Students must be within the time limits of their master's degree program for the semester in which they are requesting to register in GRST 899. Registration Deadline is September 21. Late fees will apply after this date.
