Advising and Orientation (general)	General undergraduate advisors can help you with choosing a major or minor, selecting classes, understanding University requirements, GE, calculating your GPA (and how to improve it!), campus policies, and more. To reach an advisor for a specific Redding degree program, use this link.
Associated Students	Even if you visit the Chico campus seldom, or not at all, you are still a member of the Associated Students (AS). You are eligible for all AS services, including the opportunity to vote in AS elections.
Associated Students Bookstore	The bookstore carries or can order textbooks for all CSU, Chico courses, both on campus and online. You can also order general books, clothing and gifts from the bookstore online. Click here for detailed instructions for ordering textbooks.
Calendars	This link will connect you to important information for each academic year, such as registration and fee deadlines, filing periods for financial aid, and more.
Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Center	Information for students who are concerned about alcohol and other drugs. Help with responsible decision making with regard to alcohol and drug use.
Disability Support Services	Disability Support Services are available for off campus students who are enrolled in Chico State distance education or satellite campus courses. Our goal is to help you succeed and feel a part of the learning community at Chico State. Please review our website for eligibility requirements and the process for requesting accommodations. Call or email our office to get connected. You'll be assigned an Advisor who will work with you via the phone, mail and/or internet.
Financial Aid	Check here for information about loans, grants, and scholarships. Help with budgeting and planning is also available.
Financial Aid to Purchase a New Computer	You may qualify for a loan to purchase a new computer. You will find the details here.
Getting Connected to Your Online Class	Follow these step-by-step directions to set up your CSU, Chico portal acount, through which you will access your online classes.
Library - Campus Collections and Services	You don't even have to set foot on campus to access many library services. Be sure to check out the link to Distance Education. You even have a librarian, James Tyler, assigned to help with your special needs as a distance student.
Library - Distance and Online Library Services	Reference librarians can save your life! They can help you with your research project and answer every conceivable library question.
Online Writing Center	Help with understanding writing assignments in any course, but not a proofreading service. Online tutors can help you produce and improve any kind of writing, e.g. short essays, business letters, and term papers.

Psychological Counseling and Wellness Center	Individual counseling for personal issues such as relationships, self-esteem, eating disorders, anxiety, or depression.
Student Identification Cards	A student ID card, also known as a Wildcat ID card, will be mailed to you during the second week of your first semester.
Student Judicial Affairs	If you disagree with or have questions regarding a University policy or procedure, call a Student Judicial Affairs professional.
Student Records and Registration Forms	Over a dozen forms are available at this page on the Student Records and Registration web site. Examples of the available forms are Plan Change Form (e.g. change of major), Planned Educational Leave, Electing Credit/No Credit grading, and Name Change.
