CSU Mentor Application Instructions

Application instructions for students applying to degree completion programs offered at the University Center in Redding by California State University, Chico:

Once you have navigated to the CSUMentor.edu website ( http://www.csumentor.edu ), select the “Apply Online” tab. Next click on “Undergraduate Admission Applications”.

Select the term (semester) you would like to start your degree. If you don't have a CSU Mentor account, you will need to create one at this point.

Once you have created an account, select California State University, Chico from the list of institutions. After selecting CSU, Chico click “Start a New Application” under the institution box.

About one-third of the way down the page there is a heading “To All Applicants:”. The fourth bullet states, Chico is…“Open to online and distance education programs only”.

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click “Begin Application for CSU Chico”.

In the first pull down menu select a major. Scroll to the very bottom of the list to find the online or off-campus degree completion program to which you are applying.

Follow the remaining instructions as directed. Additional help is available in the left-hand toolbar of CSU Mentor. The “Help Movies” link provides step-by-step illustrated instructions.
