This course studies descriptive and inferential statistics used for the social sciences. Emphasis is on the integration of statistical research designs and data, appropriate statistical analysis, interpretation of relevant findings, and visual presentation.
Prerequisites: SOCI 310. MATH 105 or other lower-division statistics course recommended.
Synchronous "Class has scheduled regular meeting days and times; students have the opportunity (but are usually not required) to attend the streaming lecture and participate online in real-time. If students cannot attend the streaming lecture and participate in real-time, then students are required to watch an archived recording of the class lecture. This is a Chico Distance & Online Education class. Only students who are registered in an online degree program or who reside outside of Chico and have contacted Regional and Continuing Education prior to enrollment (530-898-6105) will be permitted to enroll in this section. Prerequisite: SOCI 310. This class restricted to Sociology majors and minors.
