Call for Posters!Northern California Botanists Northern California Botanists is hosting its second annual symposium January 14-15, 2008. The symposium will be held at the Bell Memorial Union on the campus of California State University, Chico. The two day schedule of talks by botanists from around northern California will present current research, management applications, and perspectives on a number of important and timely botanical and ecological topics. There will also be workshops offered on the following day, January 16. CALL FOR POSTERS The symposium planning committee invites you to bring a poster to the symposium to share with other symposium attendees your work and knowledge of the biology, ecology, conservation or management of our northern California plant life. Please forward this invitation to botanists and others with related interests from northern California agencies, conservation organizations, consulting firms, and academia. This will be a great opportunity for continuing education and networking. BRING A POSTER TO SHARE YOUR WORK Topics: Anything related to northern California botany – research or management application; academic, agency, or consultant; small scale or large scale. To be included: Submit an abstract about your poster, by December 1, 2007, to Rob Schlising at rschlising@csuchico.edu . Please also give an estimate of the size of your poster.
