Thirty-three students from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico will visit Chico and participate in an intensive academic program in applied computer graphics on the CSU, Chico campus June 1-27.
The program is comprised of two applied computer graphics workshops that provide an introduction to video game design, technical game production techniques, and commercial marketing experience.

Reentry Students Invited to Apply for $50k in Osher
California State University, Chico Regional and Continuing Education invites reentry students to apply for $50,000 in scholarships from the Bernard Osher Foundation.

The Early Start Program at CSU, Chico is an enrollment requirement for first-time freshmen who need help getting ready for college-level English and/or math. The goal of Early Start is to better prepare them in math and English before their first semester even begins so that they have a better chance of completing a college degree.

Chico State Summer Session is ready to help students prepare for fall and get closer to achieving their academic goals. More than 150 courses in 47 subjects will be offered, along with numerous internship, field work, and professional credit opportunities.

California State University, Chico has improved to the top 15 percent of all online bachelor degree programs in the country based on U.S. News & World Report’s annual assessment. CSU, Chico placed 41st nationally among all universities ranked for their online programs, up from 75th place last year.

It’s the time of year for making New Year resolutions. Unfortunately, we all know how those typically turn out. Within a week, or even 24 hours, we’ve abandoned goals to get fit, master a skill, save money, or volunteer to help others. Old habits are hard to break and creating new ones can take much time and effort.
