Chico State Business Graduates - Redding Program 2014 Shasta College

REDDING, CA — It’s commencement season again for Chico State students at Shasta College’s University Center in Redding! Five Shasta College transfers and one more from the University of Oregon have earned their degrees through the downtown program.

The program transitioned this year from Business Administration to Business Information Systems, so it is not surprising that students have different career goals in mind. New baccalaureates Jared Minsart, Ryan Robeson, and Jason Schroeder plan to go into management. Jason, who attended American Christian Academy, is pursuing a position in Sacramento. Ryan, a graduate of Enterprise High, plans to head for coastal Oregon or Washington. Jared, a Foothill High grad, is open to wider relocation — but wouldn’t mind someplace with warmer weather than Ryan will find.

Three graduates are seeking work in supply chain management, using the new degree offering. Chris Ajamian, out of Foothill High, will be job-hunting near his family in Pasadena. Abraham Reynaga, from Anderson High, would like to work in the sporting goods industry. His fellow Anderson High grad, John Woolery, who is also a Marine Corps veteran, would like to work in supply chain locally.

These graduates were able to complete their degrees in Redding, where the Chico State Business Information System degree focuses on Operations and Supply Chain Management. The University also offers online degree completion in Liberal Studies, Social Science, Sociology, and Social Work.
