We look forward to welcoming these students February 7th. Following the Nile Project’s Sunday evening performance, the public is invited to an informative and creative Water Resource Conference on the Chico State campus. Several water agencies from the North State and The Nile Project artists will discuss civic engagement and water management issues. This conference is free and reservations are not required to attend. You can participate in as much of the conference as you are able. Reservations are required to purchase a boxed lunch or reserve a seat on the Hamilton City Levee Project bus tour.

As the longest and most storied river in the world, the Nile sustains many people from different lands and languages. In this unique collaboration, more than a dozen musicians from Nile basin countries (including Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Uganda) come together to raise awareness of this most precious resource. The Nile Project’s album Aswan was one of NPR’s 2015 “Must Hear International Albums” of the year and adds still greater voice to this unique cultural and environmental calling.
