Outstanding students from Otsuma Woman’s University in Japan will be joining ALCI for an intensive four week program in English language studies and cultural activities in the community. We look forward to welcoming these students February 7th. In addition to their language classes with ALCI, you may find them around town touring Bidwell Mansion, attending English Conversation Hour at the ESL Resource Center, or you might even see them skiing down the slopes of Mt. Shasta!

Following the Nile Project’s Sunday evening performance, the public is invited to an informative and creative Water Resource Conference on the Chico State campus. Several water agencies from the North State and The Nile Project artists will discuss civic engagement and water management issues. This conference is free and reservations are not required to attend. You can participate in as much of the conference as you are able. Reservations are required to purchase a boxed lunch or reserve a seat on the Hamilton City Levee Project bus tour.
