Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Gateway Core Training at Chico State gets underway with Automation & Robotics. PLTW is the nation’s leading provider of K-12 STEM programs. PLTW’s world-class, activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum and high-quality teacher professional development, combined with an engaged network of educators and corporate partners, help students develop the skills they need to be successful in post-secondary education and beyond.

The Early Start Intermediate Algebra online class begins and runs July 6-16. The registration deadline is July 1. Space is still available so register today!

The Early Start Program (ESP) is a CSU enrollment requirement for first-time freshmen who need help getting ready for college-level English and/or math. The goal of Early Start is to better prepare students in math and English before your first semester even begins so that they have a better chance of completing a college degree. Learn more…


Fall Special Session:  August 24–December 18

Regional & Continuing Education offers Special Session classes, which are approved academic courses offered in addition to the University’s regular semester schedule.

Whether your goal is to take a class to finish a degree, complete a certificate, or simply earn a few units of academic credit, Special Session courses give you an opportunity to earn credits toward your academic goal with the scheduling, location, and admissions flexibility you need.


Pre-K to university-level reading and study improvement classes are taught by Institute for Reading Development instructors and are held on the Chico State campus.
