Mathematics RequirementsCoursework in mathematics is required for both the B.S. in Computer Science and the M.S. in Computer Science degrees. For the bachelor's degree, the following courses (or their equivalents) must be completed: MATH 120 and MATH 121 (Analytic Geometry and Calculus, 8 semester units total); For admission to the master's degree program the following courses (or their equivalents) are required: CSU, Chico, does not offer math and physics courses online. These courses must be completed elsewhere and transferred to CSU, Chico. Listed below are some colleges and universities that offer these required courses online. Students are not required to take these courses online. Other institutions, offering these courses face-to-face, may also fulfill the requirements.
