During the summer, Chico has several camps and classes available for school age children. On the CSU, Chico campus, the Chico State Recreational Sports Department offers Adventure Camps and Summer Cat Programs. More information about specific activities, times, dates and cost can be found at http://www.csuchico.edu/recsports/summer_camp.html. Chico Recreation and Park District (CARD) will have their summer schedule available beginning April 19th. You can view the schedule at: http://www.chicorec.com/. CARD offers day classes for school age children as well as day and overnight camps.
